FG PROFILE: BOSS QUEEN
LESSONS FROM A FASHIONPRENEUR
Top of the morning to you my Beautiful people and I hope you had enough rest from yesterday?
Yesterday we started a Journey with the delectable Mrs Esther Ike,
CEO Shop Fabs 'N' Stitches.
If you missed that interesting episode, you are just one click away.
I had an amazing time writing the profile of this very passionate entrepreneur and I told you my Ladies, that we were far from hearing the Last of her.
One of the ways to spot a good innovator is their willingness to teach others who are interested how they made it.
And Sweeties, that is what I have the honour of sharing with you.
Have you ever dreamt of foraying into the Fashion business and your not sure you know how, or you don't think you have acquired all the "required" skills?
Worry no more!
Who says there are no shortcuts to certain ventures, of course there are!
All you need is to find wisdom and APPLY IT.
Thousands of people own businesses they don't even know the "first things" about, they just find this "secret" Mrs Esther is about to share and work with it.
Here we go!
1. Contrary to popular belief, you don't need to be good at sketching and sewing, you just need to be able to put your ideas clearly on paper so that someone else can interpret it.
2. As far as fashion goes, avoid being a copy cat. You may have a slow growth on "your" Original signature but you will get there eventually.
3. You need a good third eye, see beyond what is in front of you.
4. You need to be able to separate your personal style from the style in front of you.
5. You should always be able to take people's "ordinary descriptions" of what they want and make into an "enduring piece of art".
6. Literarily stop at nothing in beautifying your Clients, even those with " impossible demand ". The goal should be TOP NOTCH SERVICE
7. Be a life long learner.
8. Be able to predict " business threats"
9. And of course be dedicated to your vision.
If you live in Lagos feel free to get that "Fan" touch by calling 08039467790.
That's it Ladies.
I want to thank CEO Fabs 'N' Stitches for allowing us a peep into her world.
I consider it a privilege to be able to participate in celebrating the women who are taking active part in "Building a sustainable economy"
Love,
Your Fragile Giant.
