Stress is one of those things that seem to "suddenly" jump at us but that's only because we refuse to heed it's warning calls.
Why am I bothered about this subject of stress?
Now here is why.
The whole essence of success is CONTINUITY and stress CUTS IT OFF.
So even when you have brilliant ideas, the moment you are stressed out it BECOMES IMPOSSIBLE TO DELIVER!
WHAT THEN IS STRESS?
Stress is actually the body's way of responding to any kind threat or overloaded demands.
Stress response is the body's way of PROTECTING YOU FROM COMPLETELY BREAKING DOWN.
Whenever stress alarms go off, it is an indication that you need to "shut" your system down for a while before it "packs up" when you will be needing it the most.
STRESS in itself may not be bad when it drives you towards productivity but becomes CONSEQUENTIAL when you ignore it's persistent alarm bells.
HEALTH PROBLEMS CAUSED BY STRESS
Quite a number of health problems are associated with STRESS. From minor to major issues.
The list include;
1. Depression and Anxiety
2. Pain of all sort's
3. Sleep disorders
4. Digestive problems
5. Skin conditions like Eczema. (who would have thought that)
6. REPRODUCTIVE ISSUES (I'm like, "you've got to be kidding me")
7. Heart Diseases
8. Weight problems
9.Auto immune diseases
10. Memory problems.
And I'm saying to myself, these are just the known ones. How about those yet to be discovered?
WE REALLY SHOULD NOT UNDERESTIMATE HOW MUCH WRECK STRESS CAN CAUSE!

You see my dear friends, I'll like you all very "hands on" in the combat of this monster, so I'm going to show you SIGN'S TO LOOK OUT FOR....
1. Headaches
2. High Blood pressure
3. Fainting
4. Isolation
5. Irritability
6. Tense muscles
7. Nervous habits like chewing your nails
8. Anxious racing thoughts
9. Constant worrying
10. Stomach upset
11. Poor Judgement
12. Depression
13. Agitation
14. Loss of concentration
15. Memory problems and other mental problems.
HOW TO HANDLE STRESS
I'm not entirely a "kill joy", I still have some sugar left inside of me. So I'm going to show you how to deal with stress.
1. Regular exercises like brisk-walking can give you a break from activities that put you under pressure.
2. Spend more time with people who make you feel good.
3. Learn how to RELAX, practice staying calm.
4.Eat healthy, certain foods can worsen your mood
5. Get the much needed rest. Maybe take a nap.
6. Experiment with listening uplifting music or any other activity that relaxes you.
7. Medically, antidepressants could be recommended by a physician for the treatment of stress.
8. Reduce the intake of alcohol, drugs and caffeine.
9. Remove source of stress
10. Avoid conflicts.
