What's the big deal about the age "30"?,someone might want to ask.

Now here is what the "super deal" is for me,

The Age "30" is a SIGNIFICANT milestone in everyone's life.
It is considered an age of both PHYSICAL and MENTAL MATURITY.

Age 30, is also synonymous with RESPONSIBILITY and ACCOUNTABILITY.

Now this not say you must get to 30 before you are able to take certain responsibilities, especially for yourself; it just means that at 30 so much more is expected from you!

"Late Bloomer's" (these are people who tend to take more time at development than their peers due to one challenge or the other) may be excused though.

At 30 a LADY should have gotten certain things under control, such as at 30;

1. You should be able to CONSCIOUSLY read one book every month.

2. You should learn to CHILL-OUT on your own, take yourself out!

3. You should be able to give your self NEW OPPORTUNITIES each DAY.

4.You should have a network of positive women/friends.

5. You should stop striving to be "popular" (that's for school girls), rather strive to be "Relevant".

6. You should know how to say "NO" diplomatically.

7. You should know how to cook one type of meal PERFECTLY.

8. You should have acquired BASIC communication skills

9. You should have a source of income no matter how small, it will be a sin to be IDLE.

10. You should be TIDY, at least starting from your own room.

11. You should be exposed enough to TRAVEL to other places outside your immediate environment.

12. You should know how to perform BASIC FIRST AID.

13. You should know how to use a NEEDLE and THREAD.

14. You should be able to admit when you are wrong.

15. You should know when to ask for help. Know when you need help.

16. KNOW HOW TO APPRECIATE YOURSELF.

17. Take up a CIVIC RESPONSIBILITY; at least be able to CAST YOUR VOTE and may be have a record of taking part in COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT.

18. Know how to accept compliments graciously.

19. Have an ACTIVE SAVINGS CULTURE.

20. HAVE A MIND OF YOUR OWN. HAVE YOUR OWN PRINCIPLES AND IDEOLOGIES BUT BE FLEXIBLE ENOUGH TO WEIGH THEM ALONGSIDE OTHER PEOPLE'S OPINIONS.

These things are BASIC TRAITS for maturity.
That is to say there is so much more you should strive to ADVANCE IN.

So it is BEFORE 30, 30 AND COUNTING......
